Telset.id, Jakarta – There is good news for gamers. Ubisoft has confirmed that the latest Assassin’s Creed game series entitled Mirage will be released on October 12.
Gamers have long been waiting for the latest Assassin’s Creed series to return to its roots with the theme of stealth gameplay or sneaking around to eradicate criminals.
During the recent The May PlayStation Showcase, the company has revealed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be releasing on October 12.
For the background of the story, this game is set in two decades before the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, to be precise Mirage will be in the city of Baghdad 861 AD and gamers will play Basim Ibn.
The gameplay of this latest series will be stronger in stealth mechanics and various parkour-based movements according to the characteristics of the game, this is different when compared to previous series which have an RPG approach.
From the latest trailer, it can be seen that the game mechanics are very similar to the older games in this series that we have seen before. However, the game does not leave behind any new innovations from Valhalla, such as the main character’s pet hawk can stalk enemies.
In addition to stalking enemies in front of Basim’s eyes, eagles can also find threats and kill targets, this is the same as the function of birds in the previous game series.
Clearly, the PlayStation Showcase event shows various games that will be released on consoles made by Sony, such as PS4 and PS5.
Although, Assasssin’s Creed Mirage will also be available on other consoles, such as Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Amazon Luna, and PC when it launches later this year. [FY/HBS]
